Musings
I swear I no longer do anything on this site besides report violations and inform people about the not-so-subtle nuances of copyright and usage laws and guidelines. I hate to be all dramatic about it but what's up with the giant flood of material and why am I the one who always seems to find it? Also, what is this Twilight series thing and why is it worse than Harry Potter and animu combined, when it comes to people posting copyright-questionable material?

I wonder if the CEA team has an opening. :paranoid:

I should probably like....start commenting on real artwork again. :|

I hear you, i spend a lot of time being brutally honest lately to people with better equipment (though don't know how to use) than I do...maybe it's time we both toned down and revisited our artistic side?

I too have noticed so many violations, that it makes me wonder if anyone reads the TOS at all? If you have the time, come back to the chat and we can all bemoan the fate of dA together. Thumbbot misses you anyway. :giggle:

Yeah same here. I've given up for the moment. It's really stressful. I try not to get over worked about it, but it is a big problem.

Twilight, though I've never read it, is a series of books written by a housewife. It's about a male vampire who falls in love with this teenage girl..so it fullfills just about every teenage girl fantasy because of course, being a vampire he's the pinnicale of male anatomy and poise. Apparently they are/have made a movie out of it too.

How I know? My facebook pieces of flair application (kinda like Deviant stamps) keeps popping up with them everywhere.

You're not alone. Tons of violations lately, copyright and otherwise; it's getting really annoying, I keep commenting and reporting about such things but am getting pretty tired of doing so. x_x

As for Twilight? It -- and it's sequels -- are a series by Stephanie Meyer about a normal, everyday girl who, naturally, ends up getting mixed up with a family of vampires and falling in love with the hottest one of them all. Naturally, this means it's currently the wish-fulfillment fodder of all teenage girls, and so receiving inordinate amounts of attention. It's not exactly a bad series, and enjoyable enough in and of itself; it's just not spectacular.
