Portrait commission number 1. :D Started this after work this afternoon....and came back and finished not 10 minutes ago. Probably about 5 hours of work total I think. Not too bad considering how long stuff can take me somedays.

Anyway, this is a portrait of *kendre's character Zakrat n'Ra'ee, a shadow elf, hence the grey skin. Basically I sketched it out with pencil, detailed it in Paint Shop, and then added colour. No references used ((which might explain why he looks a bit like every male elf I've ever drawn.)

And yes, I overuse blue/green backlighting! :XD: Anyway, I hope you like it Gaia.

Zakrat n'Ra'ee is the property and copyright of Artwork by me.

I love the style of this portrait, it's very cool. :) The colours are also really nice - you can never use too much blue/green backlighing, in my opinion. ;) Great expression on his face as well!

o.o; His ears are adorable! n___n This is how I always imagine elves' ears to look when I read, rather than the side-of-the-head, elongated human ears people always draw. x___x
