Another practice portrait piece, this time practicing referencing and gridpainting. Still quick and rough around the edges like the previous.
I used this photograph as a reference. The fact I had to crop it a lot probably loses some of the perspective. I might revisit it later. As before critiques are welcome. Painter 9, a few hours. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. Looking at the full-size image, I'd have to say that the shadows are a bit too dark between her hair and her right eye (that's the eye on the left side of the picture). Other than that, though, it's very well done.
