PE Lightning Round for Loreliby `OchreJelly

Scraps

This was for the 'Hey Fellas' PE lightning round. This particular round was male characters only, and since in lightning rounds you can do sketches and character portraits, I went with a portrait. Took me about 3 hours of the afternoon, if I remember right. Not saying I do really. *shrug*

Anyway, this is *Loreli-AngelofDeath's character Aaron, a battlemage sort. I hope I did the character justice, Lore, and I hope you like it too. ^^

I know this isn't exactly your latest work, but I really love it - the face, the expression, the details and outfit and mood and all. He feels very real here.

Thanks. My older paintings aren't as 'solid' feeling as I'd like them to be, but I think this one has some nice things about it.

I like his expression, and the colour scheme. I think what I like the most in the image, are the eyes, and how they contrast with the rest of the colour scheme.
