Why do wizards always have giant chairs to sit in?
This was near done about a year or so ago, perhaps more, when it got corrupted after saving it. I was pretty dejected about that, because it was shaping up quite nicely at the time (although I was just learning painter and not as adept at using it as I [hopefully] am now.) The only undamaged image of it I had was a small jpg about 1000 pixels tall so I had pretty much given up on it.
As all these other previously unfinished pictures, I opened it up randomly and worked on it over the past week or two, in between other projects. Although this one was more challenging because I had to resize it larger and smooth out the artifacting. It took a while but overall I think this fits what my original idea was, way back when. I was going to add a few more faerie things but I liked the personal thing going on here.
As usual there might be some meanings you could attach to it, but I'll let people decide that on their own.
Ah, and thanks a lot to everyone who comment(s/ed) on stuff lately, I can't possibly reply to everything but it really means a lot to me. Thanks.

Wizards have giant chairs to sit in because in their younger days they used to be bigger...or their chairs can turn into Chair-Golems and destroy intruders... or he made a golem and it makes things for him so everything has to be big...
Just kidding, I'm making shit up.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

And could you be the one that's not afraid
To look me in the eyes?
I swear I would collapse
If I would tell how I think you fell
From the sky..
