Gossamer Wishsong by OchreJelly Gossamer Wishsong by OchreJelly
This will be the last bit of art I work on for a long while; things have reached a point where more important things need priority. This picture has been in the works for a long time, so I wanted to finish it up before I do break.

Anyway, this is a portrait of a close friend of mine drawn as an elf (I don't know if she wants everyone to know who she is though; I guess I should ask! :D) I said I would do this a while ago, but it didn't get finished. I finally managed to add the last bits to the picture early this morning; which is the dress bits. Perhaps someday I will go back and detail it to match with the rest of the portrait, but for now it remains as is, although it bothers me a bit. Eventually I would like to make it a bit larger in scope...similar to Grey Wanderer, perhaps.

The title is a play on words from some book. *shrug* Anyway, thank you for looking.

Love the spiderweb look of the strings on the dress. Your attention to detail amazes and inspires me. ^_^ Great portrait.

I'll have to insist that having good references does help though. :P
