I neglected to upload this here, it's been done for a few weeks now. Chalk it up to my general distractedness and airheadedness.
Anyways this is a commissioned piece of a lich lord named Aevirilion. He's an old elf, blind, and uses his magpie companion as his sight. It's an interesting character which is why I chose it out of the three descriptions I recieved from the commissioner. This one took quite some time, and I'm happy enough with it although there are several aspects that bug me. I guess that's unavoidable with the time aspect. Otherwise I don't have too much to say about it. Painter 9, 20 hours or so. ---------- Character rendition/idea is the property of Benedict Wolfe. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I like the shading, everything is just accurate.
The Old geezes looks amazing, and I love the whole Blind-but-uses-the-crow-for-sight thing. His staff is also interesting.
